The Prime Minister heard the report of the attending water management personnel at a manually built railway culvert flood protection facility.
In order to protect the settlement, the culvert must be continually pumped out, the local volunteer firefighters are pumping the subsoil water into the Danube around the clock. The defence effort is proceeding in a calm and coordinated fashion, the Prime Minister concluded during his onsite inspection.
Mr Orbán thanked the volunteer cadets working on the site for their hard work, the communication reads.
