Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke to Hungarian astronaut Tibor Kapu taking part in Axiom-4 mission

On Sunday afternoon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke to Hungarian astronaut Tibor Kapu – who is currently taking part in the Axion-4 mission – via video link.

“I’m a little awed at present, this is the first time I did something like this; after all, I’ve just spoken to a great man,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video he posted on his Facebook account after the conversation.

In answer to the question of whether he would go to space, he said, of course, he would, tomorrow morning. “I would take a look at what we’re like, when I could see ourselves, the whole Earth in one from outside,” he said.

The Prime Minister observed that because of his job he saw the country in one, and also the EU because that, too, was part of his job. But to see the whole Earth in one must be a special experience and is perhaps only possible from space, he added.
