Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received President of Republic of Botswana as part of an official visit

As part of an official visit, on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received President of the Republic of Botswana Duma Gideon Boko.

The meeting is of historic significance; this was the first time since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1980 that there was a high-level meeting of state leaders between the two countries.

At the meeting, the parties spoke about the expansion of economic, educational and development policy cooperation between the two countries.

After his meeting with the Prime Minister, the President of Botswana will meet with Hungarian company executives as part of a business forum, and will then attend the opening of the Budapest World Judo Championships.
