Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered his condolences to Greek Prime Minister due to train crash

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered his condolences to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in connection with the train crash that occurred in Greece the night before, claiming multiple lives, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

“Please accept my most heartfelt condolences that I would like to offer you and to those who have lost loved ones as well as to the whole nation which has been shocked to the core by this tragedy,” the Prime Minister’s message reads.
The Prime Minister reassured the victims and their family members of his sympathy, and at the same time, wished the injured a swift recovery.

According to the latest information, minimum 36 people were killed in the early hours of Wednesday morning when a freight train collided with a passenger train between Thessaloniki and Athens, near the city of Larissa in Greece.
