Mr Kollár informed Mr Orbán about the work recently completed by the civil-society body of scholars.
The Prime Minister and the President of the Batthyány Circle of Professors also spoke about the most important challenges facing Hungary, the era of threats, the wars currently under way, demographic and economic problems, and the issue of national sovereignty.
In the context of the war conflicts which are becoming ever more dangerous and ever more extensive, they stressed the importance of peace. They recalled the position issued by the Batthyány Circle of Professors in March about peace and the avoidance of a world war.
At the meeting, the president of the body offered the Hungarian government continued cooperation on technical, academic and scientific issues, Mr Havasi’s communication reads.
