Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with international star professor

On Saturday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Professor Yan Xuetong, Director of the Institute of International Relations of the world-renowned Beijing Tsinghua University, the Communications Division of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

Together with the academic focusing on the theory of international relations, they reviewed the peace initiatives launched with a view to the conclusion of the Russo-Ukrainian war. 

Mr Orbán said politicians in Brussels are currently working to ensure that European countries should be able to finance Ukraine’s war efforts also on their own. By contrast, Hungary supports the implementation of the United States’ peace plan.
