Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with elected leader of European Council 

On Tuesday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received new President of the European Council António Costa who will enter into office on 1 December, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI. 

Mr Costa intends to visit every Member State before the end of this year; Budapest is one of the very first stations of this series of talks. Topics of the Tuesday meeting included the programme of the rotating Hungarian EU presidency and the goals of the new President of the European Council, Mr Havasi reported.
