Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks about metropolitan developments 

Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán informed himself about the situation, problems and developments of the capital and had talks in multiple locations in Budapest, the weekend campaign summary of Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister sent to the Hungarian news agency MTI reads.

In the Cukor utca Fidesz office, the attendees of a meeting spoke about future cooperation between the government and the Fidesz group of the metropolitan general assembly which will be the biggest group. They discussed Budapest affairs, and concluded that the present situation was untenable; we need change in Budapest. 

In the café called ‘Ibolya presszó’, Mr Orbán had talks with the Mayor of the 5th district about the cooperation of central Budapest and the government, the tasks of the future and possible developments, the communication reads. 

According to the campaign summary, in the 12th district there are many listed buildings which are still in a poor state of repair. Some such buildings have already been refurbished, but there are many tasks yet to be resolved. The Prime Minister viewed the site of one of the planned developments and heard the plans of the district candidate for the position of mayor. 

Mr Orbán reassured candidate Krisztina Fonti that the government will provide assistance with this project as well as with any other development plans, the summary issued on Sunday reads.
