The plans regarding the ban on Russian energy must be removed from the Brussels agenda, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in a Facebook post on Monday. 

Mr Orbán drew attention to the fact that the Iran-Israel war is increasing the price of energy in Europe even further; meanwhile, Brussels “would shoot European industry in the foot” by banning Russian energy carriers. According to the Prime Minister, “we’ve had enough of the Brussels war logic,” while at the EU summit on Thursday he will represent the Hungarian people’s interests.
