Mr Orbán recalled that they had worked hard for years in order to place Debrecen as well on the map of the automotive industry. It took the locals’ talent, an economic environment incentivising investments, and above all, it required Europe’s best tax regime. Our tax regime does not penalise those who want to work more and want to earn more. Our tax regime does not smother businesses. Our tax regime supports families, the Prime Minister added.
“Those who conspire in Brussels salons about progressive taxation, about increasing the corporation tax and phasing out family tax benefits, in actual fact, risk Hungary’s future. The 21st century winner Hungary, one of the gems of which is the world’s most modern BMW plant in Debrecen,” Mr Orbán wrote, concluding his post.
