An enormous turnaround: now, not even the Poles want Ukraine’s NATO and EU membership, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote on his Facebook account on Thursday. 

Europe is waking up, the Prime Minister wrote. Mr Orbán reacted to the result of a public opinion poll conducted in Poland, according to which in three years, support for Ukraine’s EU and NATO accession has decreased significantly. According to the survey, only 35 per cent of Poles believe that their country should support Ukraine’s EU aspirations, while in respect of Ukraine’s NATO accession, this percentage is just 37 per cent. Three years ago, the percentages of support were 85 and 75 per cent, respectively.
