Red alert! Good morning, Hungarians! Yesterday István Kapitány, who represents Shell in the Tisza Party, announced that they would abolish the protected petrol price and the reductions in household energy bills, and disconnect Hungary from cheap Russian energy. This is what they would do – if we let them. But we won’t let them, because this would push petrol prices up above 1,000 forints per litre, and families’ energy bills would more than triple. If we let this happen, Hungary would become a country where petrol prices and energy bills would eat up Hungarians’ incomes and savings. But we won’t let that happen! We’re keeping a cap on high petrol prices and families’ household energy bills. No matter how much Zelenskyy and the Tisza Party demand it, we won’t give up cheap Russian energy. If we stand together, on 12 April we can say no to war and high energy prices. Fidesz is the safe choice!
