On Thursday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with Mayor of Kaposvár-President of the Federation of County-Ranked Cities Károly Szita, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
At the meeting, the parties agreed that we had entered an era of threats; due to the war in Ukraine, the misguided Brussels sanctions and the energy crisis, a number of Hungarian settlements have found themselves in a difficult situation.
The goal of the government is to protect the people living in our cities, pensioners, families, the reduction of household energy bills and jobs.
Mr Orbán and Mr Szita reviewed the forms of assistance the state is able to provide for settlements in a difficult situation, Mr Havasi reported.
