Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is inspecting military protection of Hungarian section of TurkStream gas pipeline

“Easter Monday, 6 in the morning. Instead of Easter sprinkling, we’re heading out for the Hungarian-Serbian border. Yesterday, they wanted to blow up the gas pipeline on the Serbian section. We’re going to check whether everything is alright on the Hungarian side,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wrote in conjunction with a video he posted on Facebook.

In the video, the Prime Minister said he is going to the Serbian-Hungarian border to inspect the entry point of the gas pipeline in the vicinity of Kiskundorozsma because on the Serbian side an attempt was made to blow it up and they had to order the placement of the Hungarian section of the pipeline under reinforced military protection.

“Soldiers are on their way now to regularly patrol the facilities. We’re going to inspect them now,” Mr Orbán said.
