¡Buenos días, viva España!
Dear Friends,
Prior to my speech may I have a personal remark – especially to you, Santiago? With the biggest possible modesty, may I say that I am serving as prime minister for 19 years. But what is even more important, I am a record holder as leader of the opposition for 16 years. So it means that I have some understanding and some notion about the way, the track, the road from opposition to the government, to power. And the name of this track, the name of this road, is suffering. The name of this road is pain. If you would like to go to the government, first you have to serve your nation; meanwhile you are under a constant and brutal attack. Suffer and pain. I think, Santiago, you and Vox suffered enough. You had pain enough. It’s time to go for government. And now let’s continue in my wonderful language, the Hungarian language anyway – which is in fact not a language but a secret code for us anyway, to defend our national identity.
Dear Santiago,
You are Spanish and you say “Reconquista”. I am Hungarian and I say: “I understand you, and I am with you!” In the 1200s, the daughter of the King of Hungary married King James I of Aragon. The Hungarian guards that came with her joined you and fought with you in the battles of the Reconquista. Santiago, I understand you and I am with you! Three hundred years later we met again, at both ends of Europe: you here in the West, we there in the East, fighting the same conquering tide. Thousands of Spanish soldiers led by your hero Bernardo de Aldana fought in the border fortresses at the Hungarian end. Santiago, I understand you and I am with you! Another four years later and we have met again.

You were the first to support us in 1956, when we rose up against communism and the Soviet Union. In other words, we have the tried and tested friendship of the Spanish and Hungarians who have fought alongside one another. And today, seventy years later, I stand here with you in Madrid. Santiago, I understand you and I am with you! Long live the Reconquista!

We also have more peaceful shared memories. I quote: “The people of Madrid are decent, selfless, good buddies, and – most importantly – they love football.” This was said by a Hungarian called Puskás, whom you know as Pancho. I come from his country, from Hungary. I have come to you from two thousand kilometres away. What makes our country interesting is not its size or its army. What makes Hungary interesting – and perhaps important – is its politics. Over there we have been building a free, conservative and Christian Hungary for fifteen years. Today Hungary is the laboratory of conservative politics. We are the people who have defended ourselves from migration. We are not allowing a single illegal migrant to enter Europe. Crossing the border without permission is a crime. In Hungary there is no compromise on migration. What is the result? In Hungary the number of migrants is zero. Instead of migrants, we support our own Hungarian families. We have banned gender propaganda from schools in Hungary. We have written this into the Constitution: “The protection of the Christian culture of Hungary shall be an obligation of every organ of the State.” And this is also written in the Constitution: “The mother shall be a woman; the father shall be a man.” Earlier we thought that everyone knew this. Unemployment has been eradicated. Companies pay the lowest taxes in Europe. The state rewards work, and does not punish it.

The globalist elites hate us, of course. The bureaucrats in Brussels, the Democrats in the US and the Soros network have set about hunting us down. They are hunting us because we have defended our country. And what have they done in the meantime? They have destroyed Europe. Brussels is sinking the European economy. Brussels is sending our money to Ukraine, to a hopeless war. Brussels has caused Europe to be overrun with migrants. Brussels has opened the gates and borders to an invasion of migrants. I remember in 2015 Soros announced that one million migrants a year should be allowed into Europe. And lo and behold: in nine years, nine million illegal migrants have arrived! Europe’s illegal migrant invasion and population replacement is not a conspiracy theory – it is a reality. As the dark joke has it, it’s time to look for new conspiracy theories, because the old ones have all been proven to be true.

The world has been changed in a few weeks by the Trump tornado. An era has come to an end. Yesterday we were the heretics; today we are the mainstream. Yesterday we were told that we were the past; today everyone sees that we are the future. In America, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Hungary, we patriots are writing the future. The Czech Republic is readying itself. We are many, we are big and we are strong. As your Pancho said, “The team is very together right now.” Fifteen years ago, when we Hungarians faced the progressive world elite, we were told that it was madness, impossible, political suicide. But we did not listen to them. We did it – and today I stand before you. Hungary is living proof that it is possible, that it can be done. President Trump has just started. And he will succeed. And you Spaniards will succeed too. All you have to do is stand with Santiago Abascal and Vox, and the future will be patriotic in Spain too! It is as simple as that.

Today the progressive world elite is simply taking Europe from its people. According to myth, Europa was abducted by a bull. Here in Spain you know how to deal with rampaging bulls. Here in Spain there is a patriotic party: Vox. It has a great, brave, patriotic president: my friend Santiago Abascal, who is the bravest bullfighter in politics I have ever seen. Well then, Santiago, let’s tame this runaway bull together!
