On Friday, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomar Tokayev and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks on the telephone about the topical issues of Hungarian-Kazakh bilateral relations as part of the high-level strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
They particularly focused on the effective implementation of agreements concluded at the highest level, primarily in the areas of energy, finances and investments. They stressed the importance of the continuation of joint efforts. The two leaders also exchanged views on topical world political and regional issues, confirming their commitment to cooperation within international organisations.
At the end of the conversation, the Kazakh head of state confirmed the invitation of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Kazakhstan on an official visit, Mr Havasi wrote in his communication.
