Turkic states are important partners for Hungary in era of threats

On Friday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States. At the meeting, the Prime Minister said everyone must be made interested in Hungary’s success, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the meeting of Kubanychbek Omuraliev and Mr Orbán, the parties highlighted that during the present era of threats, it was especially important to build as many alliance and partnership relations in the world as possible. Also with reference to the policy of easterly opening, the Prime Minister said we want to make everyone interested in Hungary becoming a successful and safe country.

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States has paid a visit to Hungary as part of a working visit. The goal of the Secretary General is to visit every Turkic Member State and to consult about the future and mission of the organisation, Mr Havasi reported.
