Prime Minister attended video conference of prime ministers in preparation for EU summit

On Monday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán attended a video conference held in preparation for this week’s EU summit, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
In addition to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the video conference initiated by President of the European Council Charles Michel was also joined by the Estonian, Finnish, Irish, Austrian, Slovak, Czech and Swedish prime ministers and the Bulgarian head of state.
According to the preliminary agenda of the council meeting, at the talks beginning on Thursday, EU heads of state and government will discuss, among others, the issue of the Russo-Ukrainian war as well as energy, economic, security and defence issues.
