17. 12. 2021.
The wages of the participants of public works schemes will be raised to a hundred thousand forints, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on Wednesday on his Facebook account. In his post the Prime Minister wrote: “Hungary is going forward, not backward”.

In mid-November, at the time of the signing of the wage agreement, Mr Orbán said the increase is a joint Hungarian success, and so everyone must receive a share of it.

He said next year the guaranteed wage minimum will increase to HUF 260,000, while the minimum wage to HUF 200,000. Along with the minimum wage, the wages of the participants of public works schemes, too, will increase significantly, he added.
