Everyone should convince one other person to have themselves vaccinated

Everyone should convince at least one other person in their family or at their workplace who has not yet been inoculated to have themselves vaccinated against the coronavirus as only one out of five hundred vaccinated persons becomes infected, and in their case the progression of the disease is much milder than in the case of those who have not been vaccinated, the Prime Minister said on Kossuth Radio’s programme ‘Sunday Paper’.

On Friday number of vaccinated persons will reach 5.5 million

On Friday, the number of vaccinated persons will reach 5.5 million, we will have that many people by this afternoon or evening, and then further restrictions will be lifted, including the requirement of wearing face masks, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on Kossuth Radio’s programme ‘Good morning, Hungary’ where he also mentioned that the government had adopted multiple economic decisions, including the introduction of restrictions on the exportation of construction industry products from October and the levying of an extra profit tax on some construction materials in order to curb price rises.

Four million compatriots vaccinated

Terraces of restaurants and cafes to be allowed to reopen once 3.5 million people have been vaccinated

As the next step of reopening, the terraces of restaurants and cafes will be allowed to reopen once the number of those vaccinated has reached 3.5 million, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced in a video posted on his Facebook account on Wednesday. He also said online education will continue for students in the upper grades of elementary school until 10 May.
