Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Europe’s most modern mobile disease control hospital

On Saturday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conducted an inspection in Kiskunhalas where he visited the mobile disease control hospital, a protective gown sewing workshop and the town hospital. Also on this occasion, he posted video messages of his visit on his Facebook account, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed miniszterelnok.hu.

The Kiskunhalas mobile disease control hospital was erected in record time, in just two and a half weeks, Major General Tamás Tóth – task force commander and commander of the Hungarian Prison Service – informed the Prime Minister, adding that at present there is no other more sophisticated hospital of this type in the whole of Europe.

Mr Orbán also visited a container workshop where female inmates who usually sew uniforms have now changed over to the production of protective gowns for visitors.

The Prime Minister, arriving in the town hospital unannounced, heard the report of the physicians in charge of the institution regarding their disease containment efforts, the available physical and human resources of care, and cooperation with the epidemic hospital.
