13. 10. 2021.
On Wednesday in the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will receive Egyptian head of state Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi; the fight against illegal migration will be a chief topic of the official talks, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At the meeting, Viktor Orbán and Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi will also talk about the development of bilateral economic relations, while the migration crisis situation will equally take centre stage, the press chief said.

He recalled that at the Tuesday summit of the Visegrád countries and Egypt held in Budapest, Mr Orbán mentioned that today the migration situation is far worse than it was in 2015. The European Union will only be able to cope with this if it has external allies, and Egypt is one of the most evident allies, a key country, the Hungarian Prime Minister stated at the V4+Egypt summit.
