Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with owner and chief executive of Hungexpo

In the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with President of GL Events Olivier Ginon and Chief Executive of Hungexpo Zrt. Gábor Ganczer, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

The meeting was held on the occasion that the European continent final of Bocuse d’Or, regarded as the world’s most prestigious gastronomic competition for chefs, will be held at the Hungexpo Congress and Exhibition Centre in Budapest on Wednesday and Thursday with the participation of the teams of seventeen nations, including Hungary.

In 2016, Budapest already had the opportunity to host the European final of the chef competition; at the time, Hungary led by Tamás Széll came first.

In the history of Bocuse d’Or Europe, Budapest is the first to host the final for a second time.
