Prime Minister Viktor Orbán commemorated anniversary of revolution with Mária Wittner

In the early hours of Friday morning, on 23 October, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán commemorated the 64th anniversary of the 1956 revolution with 1956 freedom fighter Mária Wittner.

The video posted on Facebook shows the Prime Minister and Mária Wittner laying a wreath tied with a ribbon of the national colours featuring the inscription ‘Gloria Victis 1956’ at an emblematic Budapest venue of the revolution that took place 64 years ago, in Corvin köz, at the memorial dedicated to ‘the lads of ‘56’.
