Hungary is part of the common EU position

On Monday evening, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán consulted with President of the European Council Charles Michel, and made it clear that Hungary is part of the common EU position. Talks are ongoing, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

In a video message delivered on Monday evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the immediate recognition of the sovereignty of the breakaway “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic” in South-East Ukraine.
