Hungarian-Austrian-Serbian summit to be held in Budapest

Next Monday in Budapest, a Hungarian-Austrian-Serbian summit will be held; common action against illegal migration will be the main topic of the talks, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister confirmed press reports to the Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.

According to news agency reports, on Wednesday, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer told journalists that next week he would meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Serbian head of state Aleksandar Vucic in order to discuss the issue of migration.

By his account, they want to engage in a fight against organised crime and smuggling as well as to reduce the pressure on the borders.
