Turkish President Erdogan to visit Budapest on 20 August

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has invited Turkish head of state Recep Tayyip Erdogan to pay a working visit to Budapest; the Turkish President has accepted the invitation, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday.

The Hungarian-Turkish summit will be held on 20 August in the Carmelite Monastery. Topics on the agenda equally include security, defence industry and economic issues.

The parties will also make preparations for the next meeting of the Hungary-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council to be held at the end of the year in Budapest.
