Prime Minister-President of Fidesz Viktor Orbán started his campaign trail organised for the Day of One Million Meetings in Szolnok and continued in Karcag, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Saturday.

Knocking at the doors of and telephoning Szolnok electors, Mr Orbán said today we are there in every village and every town, in every street and on every square. We are mobilising the entire country. The President of Fidesz added that this was the biggest campaign finish of all time: one million meetings in a single day. “Full throttle because the stakes are enormous and every vote counts. Tomorrow only peace, only Fidesz,” he said. 

In Karcag, Mr Orbán was received by Fidesz Member of Parliament Sándor Kovács and Mayor Tibor Szepesi. The Prime Minister urged the people of Karcag both on the telephone and in person to vote on Sunday, Mr Havasi reported.
