At the aircraft, children dressed in Hungarian folk costumes greeted the presidential couple, offering them bread and salt according to an ancient custom, and then the students of the Hungarian-Chinese Dual Language Primary and Secondary School welcomed the guests. There was also a brief cultural show performed by the Csillagszemű Dance Ensemble.
The Chinese head of state will stay in Hungary on a state visit until Friday, on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the press chief recalled.
