On Wednesday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the telephone and congratulated him on the victory he achieved in the first round of the presidential election as well as on the outstanding success of his party, the Justice and Development Party in the Turkish parliamentary elections, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
Mr Orbán wished Mr Erdogan all the very best for the second round of the presidential election to be held on 28 May.
During the telephone conversation, the Hungarian Prime Minister pointed out that Hungary, Europe and the world needed a strong and stable Turkey.
