“I’d like to receive an answer to this question: What makes the French or pro-war position reasonable?” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán asked on Wednesday on the way to Paris. 

In answer to the question of reporter Dániel Bohár – what he expects from the meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron – the Prime Minister said there is a fundamental change: the Americans had been on the side of war until recently, but they have now switched to the side of peace. He said he would like to know that if in three years the warring parties have been unable to defeat Russia and to help Ukraine to victory with the Americans in the camp of war, now that the Americans are no longer there – meaning that the pro-war camp is much weaker – why they think that they can win the same war. “I would like to receive an answer to this question. What makes the French or pro-war position reasonable?” Mr Orbán asked.
