Europe is balancing on verge of freedom and oppression 

The National Conservatism Conference (NatCon) is a symbolic event which faithfully sums up the state of Europe, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said, speaking to members of the press on Wednesday in Brussels. According to Mr Orbán, Europe is balancing on the verge of freedom and oppression. 

On the second day of NatCon, the Prime Minister said the banning and subsequent authorisation of the event resembles Hungary at the end of the eighties when “forces of freedom and oppression were up against each other, fighting.” 

“We are happy that we are still allowed to speak in Brussels,” he added. 

In answer to the question of what the most important mission of national conservatism lies in at this present time, he said freedom, family and peace.
