Prime Minister Viktor Orbán informed President of the Republic 

On Monday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán consulted with President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok in Sándor Palace; at the meeting, the Prime Minister informed the head of state about the current status of the flood defence effort, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Mr Orbán and Mr Sulyok agreed to remain in contact during the most critical days of the defence effort, while the Prime Minister will regularly update the President on the work performed by the competent state agencies and the necessary emergency measures, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister reported.
